The Groups Division is designed for two or more performers who want to create a powerful, high-impact routine that showcases teamwork, musicality, and stage presence.
Whether it’s synchronized tricks, dynamic formations, or storytelling through movement, this division is all about how you perform as a collective.
This division celebrates teamwork, synchronicity, creativity, musicality, and overall performance quality. Competitors are encouraged to create a cohesive routine that highlights the group as a whole while still allowing individual strengths to shine.

Skills allowed:
✅ All performers must be actively contributing to the routine
✅ Movements should be appropriate to the competitors’ skill level
✅ Safety, control, and execution will always take priority over difficulty
✅ Pole Dancing Boots, Sandals or Sneakers are optional
✅ Removal of a clothing item is optional, can go down to g-string and nipple pasties;
Groups are encouraged to:
Incorporate storytelling or a clear performance concept
Use musicality, timing, and formation changes to enhance impact
Showcase both team cohesion and individual strengths within the group
Not allowed:
❌ Dangerous acrobatic lifts where a performer is thrown, dropped, or loses full control (excluding pole/sphere drops and variations)
❌ Excessive reliance on one performer while others are inactive
❌ No nudity permitted, 1 point deduction for nip slips and flap attacks; disqualification for brazen disregard of rules
❌ No flips permitted
Must Haves:
✅ 3 min - 4.30 min routine
Note:
The Groups Division is open to amateur performers entering as a team of two or more. All entrants must meet Royals eligibility requirements and reside within the Queensland to Coffs Harbour region at the time of video submission and competition.
May include 2 - 6 competitors per groups division, only 2 competitors on a pole at a time permitted.
Judges will assess:
Teamwork • Synchronisation • Creativity • Musicality • Execution • Stage Presence
Entry Guidelines

Beginner Pole Division
Beginner Pole Dancers including those that are inverting.

Intermediate Pole Division
Intermediate Pole Dancers excluding those that are not shoulder mounting or completing Ayeshas and Iron X.

Advanced Pole Division
Advanced Pole Dancers excluding Elite Moves or Flex.

Classic Pole Division
Open to all Pole Dance levels, must wear heels and remove an item of clothing.

The Show Division
Floorwork, Twerk, Chair, Burlesque and any other off the pole style you can think of!
